QUOTATION OF THE WEEK

Each day comes bearing its own gifts. Untie the ribbons.
—Ruth Ann Schabacker

PERSONAL REFLECTIONS

At this holiday season when many celebrate various beliefs in different ways, the cord that goes though it all is the giving of the season. Giving not material things—while at times, this may be the emphasis—but giving love, compassion and kindness. These things cost little, may take very little time, and can often be done simply, but they are the things that bring quality and meaning to others and our own lives.

In this season of hustle and bustle, of spending, of stress, of guilt and yes for some, of sadness, keep the simple true meaning of the season in mind: a little kindness done unconditionally, a little love shown in simple ways, a little compassion for those less fortunate. These are the things that bring warmth and lasting memories and are the things that can truly make a difference.

Whatever your celebration, whatever your beliefs, I wish you a joyful season filled with infinite peace and love.

Blessings and Love,
