QUOTE OF THE WEEK
"The happiest people are those who seem to have no particular
reason for being happy except that they are so."
--William Inge (1913-1973) American playwright
PERSONAL REFLECTIONS
Are you happy? If not why not? Is it because you don't have enough money? Or maybe you don't have a relationship? Do you want a different job? Will these things really bring you happiness? Let us say that you had all the money you could ever want and could have just about any material desire fulfilled. Will that bring you happiness? Does money define who you are? Have you explored your values, dreams, and visions? Does your self-esteem come from who you are and not what you have? These are your keys to happiness.
You have seen truly happy people. They have an inner smile. Do they have problems? Sometimes they have problems that we cannot imagine, but they realize that happiness comes from within and not from without. They are the masters of their happiness and realize that nothing can rob them of that happiness unless they let it, and they have no intention of letting it.
So be happy. No one can rob you of happiness. You have to give it away. Be a person who, as Inge says, seems to have no particular reason for being happy except that you are so. Be happy!
