QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"Imagination is more important than knowledge"
--Albert Einstein (1879-1955) German American physicist

PERSONAL REFLECTIONS

We value knowledge. We are often in awe when an individual can relate detailed information about a person, place or thing. On the other hand, we can feel inadequate when we are unable to come up with the "right" answer, or when someone else knows more about a subject than we do. But just how important is this knowledge we value so highly? Where does it fit in the with changes that take place in our society and personal lives? If you are having surgery, you would want the surgeon to be knowledgeable. If you are learning a skill, you would want a teacher who is knowledgeable. Does that knowledge alone inspire? Does passion for a subject come from mere knowledge? No! It comes from imagination. It comes from the ability to take knowledge into uncharted territory. The ability to imagine what could be rather than being content with what is. Imagination is the key that unlocks the doors of change. Without imagination, knowledge merely becomes information. Imagination builds the castles of future thoughts, ideas and actions.

So allow yourself to imagine the possibilities. Dare to dream. Let knowledge be the tool, and imagination the driving force.
