QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"Persons thankful for little things are certain to be the ones with much to be thankful for."
--Frank Clark

PERSONAL REFLECTIONS

In being thankful for little things are they really little? When we see a beautiful flower and are thankful for this experience, it is perhaps a little thing to us in the context of our self complicated lives, but the complexity of this little flower is enormous. When we pause to look at a beautiful sunset or a star filled sky, these may be little moments in time, but look at the enormity of what we are seeing. When we experience the soft smile from a true love or the words "I love you" from a child, are these little things? Not when we look at the depth behind these simple acts.

So when you are thankful for the limitless number of so called little things, realize the infinite complexity behind them and rejoice in the intricacies that came together to allow you to experience the "little things."
